Recap of Community Development Activities Meeting on Liquor License Transfer at 3315 Liberty Ave
On Thursday, January 23rd, at 6:30 PM, Lawrenceville United and Lawrenceville Corporation hosted the Community Development Activities Meetings at New Alliance Federal Credit Union (3709 Butler St). The CDAM focused on the liquor license transfer for 3315 Liberty Ave (formerly Brewers Bar). Maurice Nassif, one of the new owners, was present to share the team’s plan for the space moving forward.
The meeting opened with LU’s Emma Gamble (Community Engagement & Program Manager) and LC’s Ross Greenberg (Business District Coordinator) giving introductions and explaining the ground rules of the meeting before turning it over to Maurice Nassif.
Mr. Nassif shared that there will be minimal changes to the existing space and bar concept. The name Brewers Bar will be changed and there will be some minor interior and exterior updates made. Mr. Nassif wants to provide the same welcoming, safe space that has come to be expected from Brewers Bar over the years. They look forward to greeting customers back in the next few months.
Following the presentation, a Community Q&A was opened up and LU and LC shared upcoming events with attendees before closing the meeting. LU and LC greatly appreciate all the feedback provided.
