Pittsburgh Party For A Purpose Fundraiser For Lawrenceville Farmers Market Raised Over $3,000!

On March 22nd, Pittsburgh Party for a Purpose hosted Grown in Lawrenceville a fundraiser for the Lawrenceville Farmers’ Market. The party will featured entertainment from Lawrenceville DJ Fernando Marti and 720 Records’ Nate Da Phat Barber, a live performance by the Beagle Brothers, a photo booth operated by Palermo Photos, tarot card reading, local food tastings, and raffle prize giveaways. Grown in Lawrenceville was held at Remedy Restaurant and Lounge located in Lawrenceville at 5121 Butler Street.  A big thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes, Remedy for us of their space, Party for a Purpose for their planning and execution, but MOST importantly to the hundreds of people who came out to support the market.  Check out a great article on the event from the Tribune Review!
The Lawrenceville Farmers Market, which, supported by Lawrenceville United, seeks to provide easily accessible fresh, locally sourced food to the residents of Lawrenceville and the surrounding communities. The Lawrenceville Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 12:30pm-4pm between June and October in the Goodwill Training Center parking lot at 52nd St. and Berlin Way.
