National Night Out
National Night Out (NNO) is an annual event held all over the country in an effort to take a stand against crime. It was first launched in 1984 by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW). National Night Out occurs in the evening of the first Tuesday of August. The activities center around efforts to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Every year we host a community cookout and invite neighborhood partners and business to come and out celebrate with neighbors. It is always a great time, and all are welcome. Click on the links below to check out the past year, or see what we have in store for this year.
