Why did you move to Lawrenceville? Born and raised

Current job title (if employed): Marketing Project Manager

Why do you want to be on the LU Board? What would you like to work on within the neighborhood? I am interested in joining the board again to re-engage my commitment to our neighborhood and to be a real part of community building.  I want to be an advocate for my neighbors.  I believe in Lawrenceville United.

What makes Lawrenceville unique? Why? Multigenerational, LU & LC Combo, Caring residents, Gardens

One of LU’s core values is equity and the organization has recently embraced anti-oppression trainings to support our work in this area. What’s one idea you have for how LU should live out its commitment to equity? Equity of development.

How are you involved in the Lawrenceville community? I help to maintain of the Lawrenceville Organic Community Gardens. 

What would you bring to the LU Board (e.g. experience, skills, perspective, network, etc.)? I have a Master’s in Community Leadership. I ran for City Council.  I have lived here the majority of my life.  I was a business owner in 10th Ward.

What’s one fun fact that others might be surprised to know about you? I am a rower and I can coxswain.
