“Give Big” to Lawrenceville United
The world can feel overwhelming at times, but when we work together with our neighbors, we can tackle some of the most pressing challenges right here in our own backyards, while also building relationships that enrich our lives in community. That’s the spirit that’s kept Lawrenceville United going since 2001. Your support is what keeps this organization strong and able to make real change you can see, block by block:
- fixing up houses for low-income seniors so they can age in place at home
- getting over 40,000 meals to our food-insecure neighbors in the past year alone
- planting hundreds of new trees to improve our air quality and slow traffic
- helping hard-to-reach families secure over $225K in rent & utility assistance in one year
- organizing with neighbors to show one of the world’s largest companies that they can’t run us over
- fighting back against special interest groups who want to profit off our neighborhood without providing housing for all of us
- taking time to honor the stories of our older adults and wisdom keepers
- bolstering our regional food system through the Lawrenceville Farmers Market, while making sure neighbors have access to fresh, healthy foods
This Giving Tuesday, we thank you for making our community strong and we invite you to make a donation, if you’re able, to keep our organization going another 21 years!
