What makes Lawrenceville unique? Why? There is an amazing mix of demographics, personalities and interests. If you are interested in an activity, there is most likely someone else that is also interest and willing to help organize an event. LU also makes Lawrenceville unique. Few neighborhoods around the country have as strong of an advocacy group.
What is was one thing you would like to work on within the neighborhood? Why? Volunteerism. There is a core group that organizes most activities. I would love to see that group and the variety of events expand. A great way for residents to take pride and ownership of their community and meet their neighbors.
What LU program or project most interests you? Why? PEP Rally is an amazing way to both improve the local schools and to advocate for them to the community. Strong schools support our future and having a public school that parents feel comfortable sending their kids to saves them money and is a huge selling for the neighborhood.
What is one fun fact that others might be surprised to know about you? I used to own a jazz club and have promoted concerns for many famous musicians.
